On this page are a selection of poems from the upcoming book of poetry entitled, "Welcome to Life, Enjoy the Ride..." Check back often, as these poems will change and there may be a sneak peak from the work in progress, "Slumber's Poesy."

"Welcome to Life, Enjoy the Ride..." is broken up into three sections; they are: "Poems of Youth," "Poems of Growth," and "Odes, Meditations, Poems, Prayers and Songs: Enlightenment and Love." The selection of poems below is a mixture of all three sections.

Others dropped courage,

   I refused morals.

There were glass shards,

   Broken like myself;

Cowardly I expose my

   Blinding desires.

Just your presence inspires me

   To do greater things than man

Ever has, but can this be?

   Only if you’ll take my hand

Then we will find out and see

   If together we can stand

And prove destiny.

The bleak, white landscape, so lonely with dismay,

   Like the skies they lay the same way.

My reflection stays the same,

   Since when I cannot name.

Dawn begins the melting,

   As were the day’s welting.

Looking back I see a change,

   Leaves me feeling distraught like a blank page.

When in love you notice the little things,

   Now you don’t even care to wear the rings.

So go home, talk and pray,

   Think of the snow melting somehow, some way.
